About these units/credits:

These University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and these courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers Inc./University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

When to Register:
You may submit your registration for university credit as soon as you receive the email confirming completion from the Newark Teacher Induction office. We will verify this with the list of eligible Teacher Candidates and Mentors.

Step 1

Get to Know the Policies of Your School District

It is your responsibility to know your district and/or university policy regarding transcript requirements and deadline dates.

Information to provide your district should you need prior approval:

  1. Courses4Teachers Inc. partners with the University of the Pacific. They are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
  2. The units/credits we provide are graduate-level professional development semester units/credits that are designed for salary advancement and/or to renew credentials. They are not applicable towards a Master’s or higher degree within the University of the Pacific.

    *It is your responsibility to confirm with other universities whether they accept these credits toward a higher degree.

  3. Our courses are accepted by districts and universities throughout the United States.
  4. If you need course descriptions for district approval, please email Courses4Teachers the course numbers/titles you would like course descriptions for. 

Step 2

Register

You may submit your registration; however, registrations will not be processed until we receive the list of approved candidates from Newark USD. You may earn credit for the current academic year as well as the past 4 academic years for participation in Teacher Induction.

To Register:

  1. Select the course titles from the list below. *Our course titles have been approved by the University of the Pacific and Newark USD to be reflected on your official transcript. You may not register for the same course title twice.
  2. Submit your payment.
  3. Registration ends July 1st.
