Step 1
Get to Know the Policies of your School District
It is your responsibility to know your district and/or university policy regarding transcript requirements and deadline dates.
Information to provide your district should you need prior approval:
- Courses4Teachers Inc. partners with the University of the Pacific. They are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
- The units/credits we provide are graduate-level professional development semester units/credits that are designed for salary advancement and/or to renew credentials. They are not applicable towards a Master’s or higher degree within the University of the Pacific.
*It is your responsibility to confirm with other universities whether they accept these credits toward a higher degree.
Our courses have been accepted in school districts across the United States.

Register
For past Southern California Kindergarten Conferences, please register for the number of units shown on your certificate of completion.
Please register based on the conference you attended. The conferences you attend vary between 1, 2, or 3 units/credits:
OPTION I: 1 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credit Awarded, 1 unit
1. Attend both Pre-Conference Sessions on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 8:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
2. Complete 9.5 hours of required reading, research, and/or curriculum development work you have done prior to or during the conference.
3. Meet with the SCKC Professional Development representative at any time during the day on Friday, February 6, 2026 in room 205 to sign off on requirements and receive Certificate of Completion for 15 hours.
4. Attach your Certificate of Completion from Southern California Kindergarten Conference.
Your certificate is valid for 12 months.
OPTION II: 2 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credit Awarded, 2-units
1. Choose one of the two options listed below:
a. Attend both the Pre-Conference Sessions on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 8:15 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. AND Workshops (A-B): Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4:00- 7:00 p.m.
b. Attend the Attend all of the Annual Conference Workshops (A-F): Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
2. Complete 20 hours of required reading, research, and/or curriculum development work you have done prior to or during the conference.
3. Meet with the SCKC Professional Development representative at any time during the day on Friday, February 6, 2026 or Saturday, February 7, 2026in room 205 to sign off on requirements and receive Certificate of Completion for 30 hours.
4. Attach your Certificate of Completion from Southern California Kindergarten Conference.
Your certificate is valid for 12 months.
OPTION III: 3 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credit Awarded, 3-units
1. Attend both the Pre-Conference Sessions on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 8:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m. AND the Annual Conference Workshops (A-F): Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
2. Complete 29.5 hours of required reading, research, and/or curriculum development work you have done prior to or during the conference.
3. Meet with the SCKC Professional Development representative at any time during the day on Friday, February 6, 2026 or Saturday, February 7, 2026 in room 205 to sign off on requirements and receive Certificate of Completion for 45 hours.
4. Attach your Certificate of Completion from Southern California Kindergarten Conference.
Your certificate is valid for 12 months.
To register:
- Select the course titles from the list below.*Our course titles have been approved by the University of the Pacific and Southern California Kindergarten Conference to be reflected on your official transcript. You may not register for the same course title twice.
- Complete the registration form and attach your certificate of completion. Your certificate is valid for 12 months.
