Tulare County Teacher Induction (TCOE)

Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Beginning & Experienced Participating Teachers and Mentors in Teacher Induction Training in Tulare County

Depending on your district, earn 4 or 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits Per Year for only $50 per unit/credit!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of Induction Training you may earn 8 or 16 total units of graduate-level professional development semester units/credits! These units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials!

Please note that it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

About these credits:
These University of the Pacific graduate-level professional development semester units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific courses are accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

When to Register for Credit:
You should wait to register until after you have completed each year of Teacher Induction.

To Register we will need:

  1. Registration form and payment
  2. Both Teachers & Mentors require a copy of an Email Confirmation from Francia Tapia. Please save it as a PDF and attach where the form asks for Proof of Completion.

For Teachers Completing Induction Training:

For Year 1 Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9247 “BTSA / Teacher Induction I”, $200
If your district designate you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9247 “BTSA / Teacher Induction I”, $200 and an additional $200 PEDU 9248 “BTSA / Teacher Induction II”
(Note: Each course requires its own registration form)

For Year 2 Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9249 “BTSA / Teacher Induction III”, $200
If your district designate you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9249 “BTSA / Teacher Induction III”, $200 and an additional $200 PEDU 9250 “BTSA / Teacher Induction IV”
(Note: Each course requires its own registration form)

For Mentors Completing Induction Training:

For Year 1 Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9282  “Mentor Standards I”, $200
If your district designates you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9282 “Mentor Standards I”, $200 and an additional $200 for PEDU 9283 “Mentor Standards II”
(Note: Each course requires its own registration form)

For Year 2 Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9284 “Mentor Standards III”, $200
If your district designates you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9284 “Mentor Standards III”, $200 and an additional $200 for PEDU 9285 “Mentor Standards IV”
(Note: Each course requires its own registration form)

We will email you confirmation of registration within a few days after we receive your registration(s).

Transcript Information:
Your district will likely require an Official Transcript. Please note it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to receive your Unofficial Transcript in the mail. This is your cue to go online and order an Official Transcript should you need one.

If you need your Official Transcript quicklyOnce you see your payment has cleared with your bank, you may email our Courses4Teachers office with a request to post your grade(s) quickly. We will post your grade(s) as quickly as possible and email you to let you know when you are safe order your Official Transcript.
