Mosaics Across the Curriculum
P EDU 9723
Gina Dominguez, Instructor

Mosaics, Mosaics, and More Mosaics! Don’t miss this course!!!

We are so excited to introduce you to Gina, a fabulous mosaic artist. Gina has been a mosaic artist for 18 years, was the owner of Snapshot Mosaic in Oakland for 8 years where she sold mosaic supplies, taught mosaic classes to adults and children, and created custom work for public and private parties. Now she is back in her studio focusing on public art commissions, but is excited to get back into the classroom for this summer mosaic course. We are so fortunate that she has chosen Courses4Teachers for teaching a summer course!

Whether you are a first time mosaic maker or someone with experience, this class is sure to captivate you. Using ceramic tile, stained glass, pottery, glass gems, tempered glass, mirror and vitreous glass, we will add color and shine to ordinary objects, which include stepping stones, sun catchers, framed mirrors, and wall hangings.

Gain experience cutting materials, using various adhesives, making color choices, and selecting materials appropriate for all age groups. Mosaics are a great learning tool for shapes, counting, color spatial awareness, and much more.

Please bring a stepping stone of your choice to the first class. All other project materials and tools will be provided. A $40 material fee will be paid to the instructor.

Don’t miss this fun course with Gina. You will love what you learn and love being in the company of such a wonderful, caring instructor.
