Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Beginning & Experienced Teachers and Support Providers in BTSA/Teacher Induction Training in San Diego COE (SDCOE) Consortium
Teachers may Earn 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credits Per Year for only $400!
Therefore, upon completion of two years of BTSA/Teacher Induction you may earn a total of 16 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits!
Mentors may Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credits Per Year for only $200!
As a Mentor/Support Provider you may continue to earn 4 Graduate-level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits per year for only $200 per year!
Teachers and Mentors: SDCOE has given permission for you to earn credit for the current academic year and the previous 4 academic years, for your participation in Teacher Induction, provided of course that you have not earned credit for such previously.
Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

These University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

You may submit your registration for university credit at any time after completing BTSA/Teacher Induction for the year. We will email you confirmation of registration shortly after we receive it.
Once Courses4Teachers receives confirmation of your completion from SDCOE’s BTSA/Teacher Induction Program, your registration, payment, and grade will be processed. At this time your grades should be available in the University’s Grading Portal to be posted. You will receive an email with grade confirmation around the second week of June. This email will have information on how to order your Official Transcript. Grades are on a “pass/no pass” basis.
NOTE: Please check with your district human resources division to ensure units/credits will be accepted.

PEDU 9248, BTSA / Teacher Induction II – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9249, BTSA / Teacher Induction III – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9250, BTSA / Teacher Induction IV – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
Course Titles for Mentors:
PEDU 9282, Year 1: Mentor Standards I – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9283, Year 2: Mentor Standards II – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9284, Year 3: Mentor Standards III – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9285, Year 4: Mentor Standards IV – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
There is no deadline for registering for credit for the BTSA/Teacher Induction year.
Your district will likely require an Official Transcript. Please note it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to receive your Unofficial Transcript in the mail. This is your cue to go online and order an Official Transcript should you need one.
If you need your Official Transcript quickly: Once you see your payment has cleared with your bank, you may email our Courses4Teachers office with a request to post your grade(s) quickly. We will post your grade(s) as quickly as possible and email you to let you know when you are safe order your Official Transcript.
