Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Participating in Teacher Induction Training and for being a Support Provider in Sacramento Consortium (SCOE)

You may receive 6 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific, for each year you complete Teacher Induction Training or you are a Support Provider.

Earn 6 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits Per Year for only $300!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of Induction Training you may earn a total of 12 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for only $600! These credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials!

Please Note: You do not need to turn in to Courses4Teachers anything other than your registration(s) and payment. We do however, need to know what academic year you are applying for, and if this is your first or second year of Teacher Induction.

Please note that it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and to order your Official Transcript should you need one.

Your district has given permission for you to earn credit for both the current academic year as well as the past academic year for your participation in Teacher Induction, provided of course that you have not earned credit for such previously.

About these units/credits:
These University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and these courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide and they are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

When to Register:
Per SCOE you must register between January 8th – May 25th.

Registration form and payment. (Click on the appropriate Registration Form link below.) You will need to fill out one registration form for each course.
(PLEASE NOTE: The information on the bottom of the registration form states you need a Certificate of Completion. Your district DOES NOT require a Certificate!!)

Course Titles and Registration Form for Teacher Participants:
For Year One you may register for these two courses:
PEDU 9266 – BTSA Part I, 3 units
PEDU 9267 – BTSA Part II, 3 units

For Year Two you may register for these two courses:
PEDU 9268 – BTSA Part III, 3 units
PEDU 9269 – BTSA Part IV, 3 units

Course Titles and Registration Form for Mentors:
For Year One you may register for these two courses:
PEDU 9282 – Mentor Standards I, 3 units
PEDU 9283 – Mentor Standards II, 3 units

For Year Two you may register for these two courses:
PEDU 9284 – Mentor Standards III, 3 units
PEDU 9285 – Mentor Standards IV, 3 units

Within a few days after registering, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration(s). Once we hear from Sacramento Consortium (SCOE) in July, you will receive a grade of “Pass” rather than a letter grade. This grade of “Pass” suffices for credit for salary advancement and to renew credentials. Please note that this grade is not to be used towards attainment of an advanced degree with University of the Pacific.
