Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Beginning & Experienced Teachers and Mentor in Teacher Induction Training in Imperial County Consortium Teacher Induction

You may receive up to 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you completed Imperial County Consortium Teacher Induction. You may also receive 4 graduate-level professional development units/credits per year for your participation as a Mentor.

Earn 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits Per Year for only $400!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of Induction you may earn a total of 16 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for a total of only $800! And as a Mentor you may continue to earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for only $200 per year.

Your program has given permission for you to earn credit for each academic year you are enrolled in Induction, provided you have not earned credit for such previously.  Please check with your own employing district to determine if you can use the credits on the district salary schedule.

Please note that it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

When to Register for Credit:
You may submit your registration for university credit at any time after completing Induction for the year. However, registrations will not be processed until our Courses4Teachers Inc. office receives the list of candidates from the Imperial County Consortium Teacher Induction Program. This list of teacher participants usually comes to our Courses4Teachers Inc. office the first week of June.

  2. See course numbers and titles below. (We need a separate Registration Form for each course number). At the bottom of the first form entry, you will see the option to complete another form. 
  3. Once you hit SUBMIT, your information will automatically complete the University’s Registration Form and email it to us at Courses4Teachers@Courses4Teachers.net.

PEDU 9285 – Mentor Standards IV, 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
(each 4 unit courses is $200)

IMPORTANT: Grade & Transcript Information:
We will email you a registration confirmation within two business days. We will HOLD your registration until we receive Proof of Completion from your Director at Imperial County Consortium sometime in June. Once we have received this list from them, we will send your registration(s) to the University of the Pacific for your registration(s) and payment to be processed. These courses are on a “pass/no pass” basis.

More Transcript Information:
Your district will likely require an Official Transcript. Please note it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to receive your Unofficial Transcript in the mail. This is your cue to go online and order an Official Transcript should you need one.

If you need your Official Transcript quicklyOnce you see your payment has cleared with your bank, you may email our Courses4Teachers office with a request to post your grade(s) quickly. We will post your grade(s) as quickly as possible and email you to let you know when you are safe order your Official Transcript.
