Contra Costa County Office of Education: Teacher Induction Program
Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units (PEDUs) for Participating Teachers and Mentors in Contra Costa County Office of Education Teacher Induction Program for districts/private-charter schools who accept professional development units.
Note: Please contact your district/private-charter school policy regarding professional development units, as some districts/private-charter schools do not honor them.
Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units per year for $200. Therefore upon completion of two years of CCCOE Teacher Induction you may earn a total of 8 Professional Development Semester Units for only $400.
About these Credits:
These University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide.
When to Register for Credit:
You may register for units after completion of the program year. Retroactive units are available until May 31st of the year following completion.
We are currently only able to accept registrations as far back as the 2018-19 academic year.
How to Register:
The registration for Teacher Induction credit at a discounted price is simple to follow.

- Proof of Completion. Scan and attach your Contra Costa County Office of Education Teacher Induction Program Letter of Completion. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for your official Letter of Completion.
- There is a spot on this new form to attach your Letter of Completion as your proof of completion. (File types allowed: pdf, jpg, png, bmp, xls, xlsx)
You will need to save the documents as a PDF, JPG etc (NO .doc or .docx) to your desktop before trying to attach it if it isn’t already. (We need this proof of completion before we may process your registration.)

P EDU 9247 – BTSA / Teacher Induction I – 4 graduate-level professional development credits
Year 2 OR Early Completion Option:
P EDU 9248 – BTSA / Teacher Induction II – 4 graduate-level professional development credits
Course Titles for Mentors: (*up to 4 years)
P EDU 9282 – Mentor Standards I – 4 graduate-level professional development credits
P EDU 9283 – Mentor Standards II – 4 graduate-level professional development credits
*a flat rate of 4 units per year, regardless of how many teachers you are mentoring.

Grades and Transcripts information:
Once your registration and grade have been processed, we will email you confirmation of registration along with a grade confirmation letter within a few days.
Note: Please note that it takes 6 – 7 weeks should you need an Official Transcript.
