Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Beginning Teachers and Support Providers in Teacher Induction Training

You may receive 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you completed Teacher Induction Training or for being a Support Provider.

Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits Per Year For Only $200!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of induction training you may earn a total of 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for a total of only $400!

Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

You may register for this credit each year you were in Teacher Induction — receiving 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester units/credits for Year One and another 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for Year Two!

Your district has given permission for you to register for these credits up to one year after completion of your Teacher Induction program, provided of course that you have not earned credit for such previously.

Please note that these graduate-level professional development semester units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. When to Register for Credit:
As soon as you receive your Induction Teacher Transcript, you may submit your registration for university credit.

Participating Teachers

  2. There is a spot on this new form to attached your Induction Teacher Transcript for Teacher Induction / Central USD.

    Proof of Completion, if required (File types allowed: pdf, jpg, png, bmp, xls, xlsx)
    You will need to save the letter as a PDF, JPG etc (NO .doc or .docx) to your desktop before trying to attach it if it isn’t already. (We need this proof of completion before we may process your registration.)

Support Providers

  2. There is a spot on this new form to attached your Confirmation Letter from the Director of Program.

    Proof of Completion, if required (File types allowed: pdf, jpg, png, bmp, xls, xlsx)

Year 2 Teacher Induction: P EDU 9248, BTSA / Teacher Induction II – 4 units/credits

You may register up to one year after completion of each Teacher Induction year. We will email you confirmation of registration along with a grade confirmation letter within a few days after we receive your registration information and Induction Teacher Transcript.

Year 1 Support Providers: P EDU 9282, Mentor Standards I – 4 units/credits
Year 2 Support Providers: P EDU 9283, Mentor Standards II – 4 units/credits

You may register up to one year after completion of each Teacher Induction year. We will email you confirmation of registration along with a grade confirmation letter within a few days after we receive your registration information and a Confirmation Letter from the Director of the Program verifying your service as a Support Provider.

Please note that it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks should you need an official transcript.
