You may receive 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits per academic year, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you completed Teacher Induction Training.
Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits Per Year for only $200!
Therefore, upon completion of two years of induction training you may earn a total of 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for a total of only $400!
Please note that it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.
You may register for this credit each year you were in Teacher Induction — and receive a maximum of 4 Graduate-level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for Year 1 and another 4 Graduate-level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for Year 2!
Your district has given permission for you to earn credit for both the current academic year as well as the past academic year for your participation in Teacher Induction, provided of course that you have not earned credit for such previously.
Please note that these Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts across the U.S. Courses4Teachers Inc./University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.
When to Register for Credit:
As soon as you receive your Proof of Completion Letter signed by Steve Thornton, Teacher Support Program Director, you may submit your registration for university credit.

You will need to fill out one registration form for each course.
- Proof of Completion Letter signed by Steve Thornton, Teacher Support Program Director. There is a spot on this new form to attached your this letter.The spot is:
Proof of Completion, if required (File types allowed: pdf, jpg, png, bmp, xls, xlsx)
You will need to save the Certificate as a PDF, JPG etc (NO .doc or .docx) to your desktop before trying to attach it if it isn’t already. (We need this proof of completion before we may process your registration.)
- Log and documentation of 15 hours of additional work for each course you register for. Thus: If you are registering for credit for 2 years of Teacher Induction training participation/mentoring you will need to submit a total of 30 hours of professional work. (These logs and documentation may need to be emailed separately if you are not able to save the letter and logs/documentations in one PDF.)
In the NOTES section at the bottom of your Registration Form please let us know that your Log and Documentation are coming in a separate email.

Year 2 – Teacher Induction: P EDU 9248 – BTSA / Teacher Induction II – 4 graduate-level professional development units/credits
(NOTE: These units are capped at 4 units per year)
Course Titles for Mentors:
Year 1 – Mentors: P EDU 9282 – Mentor Standards I – 4 graduate-level professional development units/credits
Year 2 – Mentors: P EDU 9283 – Mentor Standards II – 4 graduate-level professional development units/credits
(NOTE: These units are capped at 4 units per year)
Grade and Transcript information:
You may register up to one year after completion of this Teacher Induction year. Prior years need proof of completion from your Teacher Induction Coordinator. We will email you confirmation of registration within a few days after we receive your registration and certificate.
More Transcript Information:
Your district will likely require an Official Transcript. Please note it can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to receive your Unofficial Transcript in the mail. This is your cue to go online and order an Official Transcript should you need one.
If you need your Official Transcript quickly: Once you see your payment has cleared with your bank, you may email our Courses4Teachers office with a request to post your grade(s) quickly. We will post your grade(s) as quickly as possible and email you to let you know when you are safe order your Official Transcript.
