Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for Teachers and Mentors in Teacher Induction Training in Clovis USD
Participating Teachers may receive 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you completed Teacher Induction Training.
Mentors may receive 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits per year, at a great discount from the University of the Pacific, for the training you completed as well as the structured support you have provided participating teachers, provided that you have not previously purchased units from another university for your work as a Mentor. The CUSD HR department will allow credit for two years for all Mentors.
Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credits Per Year for only $200!
Therefore, upon completion of two years of induction training you may earn a total of 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits for a total of only $400! These units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials!
Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.
Your district has given permission for you to earn credit for both the current academic year as well as the past academic year for your participation in Teacher Induction, provided of course that you have not earned credit for such previously.
Please note that these graduate-level professional development semester units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.
When to Register for Credit:
Participating Teachers: As soon as you receive your Certificate of Completion of Year One or Year Two Induction from Clovis Teacher Induction Administrators, you may submit your registration for university units/credits.
Along with your registration for university credit, please submit the Certificate of Completion given to you at the conclusion of your 5-day Mentor training. If you need a copy of the certificate, please contact Suzanne Lauritzen or Lynn Brannan in the CUSD Induction department.

- Registration form and payment. (Click on the appropriate Registration Form link below.) You will need to fill out one registration form for each course.
- For Participating Teachers, Certificate of Completion of Year One or Year Two Induction OR, for Mentors, the certificate showing that you completed the Clovis USD Induction Training. (Suzanne Lauritzen or Lynn Brannan will provide you with a note/certificate upon request)

Grade and Transcript information:
You may register up to one year after completion of this Teacher Induction year. Prior years need proof of completion from your Teacher Induction Coordinator. We will email you confirmation of registration along with a grade confirmation letter within a few days after we receive your registration and certificate. Please note that it takes 6-8 weeks should you need an official transcript.
